Anzac biscuits

Ingredients:

100g Oats,
150g Plain flour,
120g Sugar,
100g Butter,
60g Desiccated coconut,
1 tablespoon of golden syrup,
1 tablespoon of very hot water,
½ a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda

Method:

1. Turn the oven on to 150o.
2. Mix the oats, flour, sugar and coconut together in a mixing bowl.
3. Put the butter and syrup in a saucepan and melt together on a low heat.
4. Mix the bicarbonate of soda and water together.
5. Add the butter, syrup and bicarbonate of soda to the mixing bowl and mix well.
6. Use your hands to pick up handfuls of mixture and squeeze together, then put on a baking tray and cook for 20 minutes.
7. Dish up and enjoy!
